The vaping community is relatively new. It has only been around for a handful of years. In its short existence, it has faced a number of overwhelming challenges, the biggest of which has come in the form of haters. If there is one thing that bugs vapers more than any other problem in the community, it is the constant bombardment of anti-vaping propaganda that is generated by the haters of vape products.
It is normal for people to misunderstand vaping and think of it as a fancier version of conventional cigarettes or a miniature hookah. However, the existence of haters of vape products makes very little sense. These people are not misinformed about e-liquids and e-cigarettes. In fact, the haters probably know more about vape products than many of the newcomer vapers in the community (this is why some of them have successfully lured rookie vapers out of the vaping society). Despite knowing everything there is to know about vape products, the critics of e-cigarettes and e-liquids continue to spew hatred and spread fabricated/exaggerated information. This information serves to deceive people, rather than to enlighten them.
If you are sick and tired of listening to the critics go on and on about how some so called reliable clinical tests are proving the ill effects of vaping, then you should learn about the following six facts that can be used to shut these haters up once and for all:
1) Second hand Vapour Does Not Contain An Alarming Amount of Toxins
Just because there is nicotine in second hand vapour does not mean that there is any reason for you to be concerned about bystanders suffering from health complications. The amount of nicotine in second hand vapour can practically do you no harm. According to a study that was published in the Oxford Journal in the year 2013, there are no combustion related toxins in e-liquid vapour.
2) E-Cigarettes Do Not Affect Arteries
You may have heard a lot of haters speak openly about how vaping e-liquids and using e-cigarettes on a regular basis can put a person’s heart at risk. It seems like there is no scientific basis for that claim. Greek researchers from the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center have confirmed that vaping e-liquids made no difference to the aorta. Furthermore, their research made it clear that smoking two tobacco cigarettes have the potential to stiffen the aorta.
3) Vaping E-Liquids Will Not Impact the Oxygenation of the Heart
This information was derived courtesy of the research conducted by Dr. Konstantino Farsalinos who was looking to establish a connection between vaping and the oxygenation of the heart. The results of his research made it quite obvious that the oxygen supply to the heart and the overall coronary circulation is not affected in the least bit by the absorption of e-liquid vapour. These findings were acknowledged and accepted at the European Society of Cardiology Annual Congress. This gives us a solid reason to believe that vaping does not have the potential to cause harm to the human heart or the circulatory system.
4) Vaping E-Liquids Can Actually Help Smokers to Quit
One of the most commonly fabricated pieces of information about vaping is that electronic cigarettes have no effect on a person’s desire to quit smoking. This is a completely erroneous statement that is contradictory to what statistics have to say. According to researchers from the University of Auckland and those from University of Geneva, adopting the vaping lifestyle can actually help prevent former smokers from falling into relapse and reviving their smoking habit again. This makes it pretty obvious that e-liquids are an ideal replacement for tobacco. The research further went on to state that the presence and availability of vape products could serve as an incentive for people to get rid of their smoking habits.
5) E-Cigarettes Do Not Lead to Tobacco Abuse
Haters continually claim that e-cigarettes open the doorway for tobacco abuse among teenagers and younger adults. This is not true at all. Dr. Ted Wagener from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center recently discovered that a very small percentage of college students are actually inclined to use vaping as a stepping stone for smoking. According to his remarks, there is no evidence to suggest that e-cigarettes have been used as a scapegoat for tobacco use.
6) Health Improves after Switching to Vaping
When a person gives up cigarettes for e-cigarettes, his or her health is likely to improve considerably. This information is backed up by real research, something that the haters of e-cigarettes are always in need of. A team of independent university researchers established that 91% of smokers who switched to vape products were able to experience a noticeable improvement in their overall health condition. 97% of those smokers with improved health were actually able to reduce or see off chronic coughs.
