This is another juice that I have received from S&Heaven from the Nova Liquides American Beauty range. It is a straight up menthol juice. As described on the website: “You do not fear frost and sometimes wish during the summer for the winter to come? This uncompromising menthol flavoured eliquid will make you freeze in a blink of an eye”….. Sounds quite powerful.
I received 10mls of this juice, 6ml nicotine strength, in a blue frosted plastic needle nose bottle. As with all of the Nova ranges I have tried, it comes with the childproof cap, all the relevant warnings and tactical stickers. Again, I’m unsure of the PG/VG ratio but is at least 50/50 judging by the viscosity of it and the vapour that it produces. The juice itself is completely clear.
I vaped this in a kayfun lite plus tank, using a 1.3ohm built microcoil with an organic cotton wick. My weapon of choice is a Cloupor mini 30w running at 3.6 volts. I got this device a couple of days ago and it is great. I’d highly recommend one if you’re in the market for a sturdy small box mod.
Flavour and Taste
I generally steer clear of menthol flavoured juices as they are not my thing. However, you cannot ignore the appeal of what a menthol juice offers. Extra throat hit without having to up the nicotine level. This juice certainly does not disappoint. On undoing the cap and taking a whiff, your nostrils are greeted with that menthol sensation. The type that would clear out your sinuses if you kept on sniffing.
I loaded up my kayfun and took a drag. The menthol already hits the back of your throat before you even inhale and when you do, your lungs fill up with menthol leaving you very refreshed indeed. But it this way, if you had a cold, a few tokes on this would certainly sort you out.
There is also a very slight sweetness to this juice which is very pleasant with a very slight mint undertone, more on the side of peppermint than say spearmint.
This stuff hits like a monster even at 6ml due to the fact that it’s a straight up menthol juice. It is sersiously good and certainly not for the faint hearted. I did also try a few drops of this in my IGO-W dripper and it was too much for me. But I am a light weight when it comes to menthol.
As with all the Nova ejuices I’ve had the pleasure in reviewing, the vapour Production of this is top notch.
I’m sure you would get several weeks out of this, since it’s a menthol based.
If you’re a lover of menthol and are after a little extra hit, then SubZero is certainly one to consider. Clean, straight up menthol with a very slight mint undertone. Thumbs up for the menthol fans.
