Up next I have another juice from the American Beauty range by Nova Liquides which is available through S&Heaven (5% off all orders code: ELIQUIDZ). This was vaped using an Eleaf iStick, Kayfun lite with a 1.6ohm coil and a cotton wick.
I’m reviewing this one separately from the other American Beauty juices as it’s not a tobacco juice. This was a 6ml strength 10ml needle nosed bottle. The juice itself is completely clear in colour which will make most people smile knowing their coils will last.
Flavor and Taste
On opening the bottle, you get a lovely natural aroma of pineapple. There are hints of coconut in there. A slight tingle in the nostrils tells you that there is also a touch of menthol.
This is certainly a very cleansing vape. On the inhale there is the cooling sensation of menthol, the taste buds then sense a very natural tasting pineapple. On the exhale you get that gorgeous coconut flavour surrounded in a bubble of freshness from the presence of the menthol. The description of this juice is certainly in keeping with its taste. All natural tasting flavours, nothing artificial. Top marks.
A very pleasant throat hit greets you with this juice. With the added presence of menthol, the throat hit is amplified somewhat, but at 6ml you can happily chain vape the pineapple goodness all evening.
Lovely clouds of vapor with this one. A light clean smell which only lasts as long as the vapour is present, so again can be happily vaped without offending others.
As this juice is clear, you’re going to get as long as you could get out of a coil with this one. Obviously I can’t comment past the 10ml bottle I received, based on this and the fact that I chain vaped every last drop, it should play nice with coils.
I have to say I am loving the Nova American Beauty range. Each liquid I have tried in this range is top notch. It must be since I’ve also consumed the entire bottle (again). I would not hesitate to recommend this juice if you’re after a refreshing pineapple vape with a hint of coconut.
I should probably address the question many readers will have on their minds after reading this review. How does it compare to Halo’s Malibu? They are both slightly different and very tasty in their own right. However, I would probably have to say that Nova’s Malibu is slightly more of a natural tasting pineapple and coconut combo, where as Halo’s (while still very natural tasting) tends to have a slight cotton candy twist to it on some draws. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Halo use a mix of artificial and natural ingredients and Nova exclusively use natural ingredients. They’re both great tasting juices in their own right. The best way to describe the difference is simply that each juice probably accurately reflects the cultural differences in taste between Europe and the US. Nova Malibu isn’t as sweet and this explains why it performs so well in the longevity department.
