Liqua e-liquids are somewhat misleading in the way they’re advertised. Most folks think they’re Italian juices but they’re actually produced in China using “premium” Italian flavors. Don’t be fooled by the premium tag either, I see quite a few online vendors who are price gouging off the back of this labeling. They are quality e-liquids, but the fact is they are available to buy online for a reasonable price with reputable vendors. The exact PG/VG mix used is not indicated. I used 12mg Liqua strawberry for the review.
Flavor and Taste
It smells and tastes like muted strawberry jam rather than real strawberries. It’s quite sweet but the fruity aspect is a little dull and muted. It’s almost like a cross between artificial and real strawberries. It definitely has authentic notes but it’s still a bit off the taste of the real thing. Strawberry lovers should appreciate it but just don’t expect a truly natural strawberry bouquet. The vapor leaves a pleasant lingering aroma. I did vape it all day for 2 days non-stop, but not out of choice. I was away for a weekend and forgot my all my vaping supplies. I didn’t vape quite as much over those 2 days as I normally would. Otherwise I don’t think it’s all that great as an all day vape, I constantly found myself pining for something different. I also suffered from an irritable throat by the end of each day.
Surprisingly strong throat hit. I didn’t expect such a punch from a 12mg fruit flavored juice. After a full day of chain vaping my throat was spent and I couldn’t take any more. I suspect it’s 100% PG or very close. After a day of heavy use my throat was dry, slightly sore and itchy. This is something I’ve never experienced with any other e-liquid.
Vapor production is a bit disappointing and on the lighter side. It doesn’t create big bubbly clouds of vapor. The smell of the vapor is quite pleasant though.
It’s a clear and supple juice that’s yellowish with a tint of red. You can expect a great life span out of your atomizer as it flows freely and it’s not a very dark juice.
It’s okay, it’s a slight step up from other Chinese strawberry flavors I have sampled with a similar price bracket, but it’s by no means a premium quality flavor that is really authentic. If you find this liquid advertised and priced as a premium e-liquid, I would give that site a very wide berth. It’s a standard e-liquid in my opinion and it should be priced accordingly. Would I buy it again? I doubt it, it’s not a memorable flavor but by the same token, I don’t regret trying it out.
